Abstract
This paper discusses an energy-efficiency supervision and diagnostic system (ESDS) to address the problem that the air-condition system do not perform as well as anticipated. The ESDS consists of a set of sensors, data acquisition system, data analysis and diagnostics system including a web-based remote access system that can be used to identify problems in operations. The operation state of a typical ground source heat pump system including indoor thermal environment, water transfer coefficients, heat pump and water pump efficiency was analyzed in detail. The results show that the air-condition system energy saving has great potential. The ESDS are meaningful for building efficiency retrofit and management.
