Abstract :
This paper describes the feed upgrade effort to an existing 9m dual-offset reflector antenna operating at S-band for weather radar applications. The new feed, designed to upgrade the existing operational capabilities, fits mechanically in the existing antenna interface and operates, simultaneously, over the S-Band and X-band frequencies with collinear beam direction and linear polarization alignment.
