Abstract
The BER performance of a quasi-synchronous digital mobile radio system is evaluated, through computer simulation, in the presence of AWGN plus Rayleigh fading. The effect of carrier frequency offset, amplitude imbalances and differential delay between the received signals, on the BER performance, is investigated. The results show that in order to achieve a quasi-synchronous operation, the differential delay should be less than 0.25 of the symbol period
