Abstract :
A globally explicit DG-FETD method is developed to analyze the antennas structures with waveguide excitations. The developed DG-FETD method involves several advanced EM techniques, such as higher-order elements and conformal PML, and the LTS scheme. Several interesting antennas are simulated using the DG-FETD method. Numerical results demonstrate the DG-FETD method´s capability of accurately modeling different types of antennas, including broadband antennas with resistive loading. More formulation details and numerical results will be presented and discussed in the conference.
