  • Abstract
The paper gives an overview of the potentials of Multiuser MIMO technique for the future telecommunications systems. MU-MIMO has been recognized as one of the most promising techniques for the 4th generation of telecommunications networks (and beyond) because it enables full spatial exploitation of the available radio channel, hence the maximum achievable capacity. The paper describes basic characteristics of MU-MIMO, focusing on the main advantages and practical implementation challenges.
