Abstract

In October 2012 Croatia has assigned the frequency band 790-862 MHz (Digital Dividend) to two mobile operators (2 times 20 MHz). The introduction of mobile services in the Digital Dividend band can cause interference to the reception of existing DVB-T (Digital Video Broadcasting - Terrestrial) networks operating on adjacent channels. This paper describes the expected interference scenarios of LTE system to the DVB-T system in Croatia. The aim of this paper is to evaluate the possible interference from the LTE system to the DVB-T system operating in Croatia and to propose filed measurement locations.
