Abstract
Multiple frequencies and polarizations Luneberg lens antennas (LLA) suitable for broadband satellite communication terminals have been designed and implemented. An efficient multiobjective evolutionary algorithm based on decomposition (MOEA/D) with differential evolution operator is coupled to the vector spherical wave function expansions (VSWE) to analyze and design a LLA with simultaneous Ku/K/Ka-band feed-system. Numerical performance of a 650mm diameter 7-layer LLA is presented to show the validity of this study.
