Abstract
Here we report on the energy scaling of a NOPA up to ap500 muJ, more than an order of magnitude higher than previously published. This scaling makes the NOPA a very promising source for high-intensity, extreme non-linear optics applications. As an example, we demonstrate the generation of high-energy tunable ultraviolet (UV) and of vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) pulses.
