Abstract :
A single-inductor dual-output DC-DC converter designed in a 90 nm CMOS technology is presented in this paper. One of the sub-converters is a buck converter, and the other one is a boost converter. There are totally five power switches in the power stage. The values of the off-chip inductor and capacitors at the output of each sub-converter are 1 ¿H and 1 ¿F, respectively. The switching frequency of the internal oscillator is 4 MHz. The power efficiency of each sub-converter is about 88% for load current of 20 mA.
