Abstract :
One of the most eye-catching problem in image processing is the recognition of noise free images, especially in color image analysis. The focal theme of this paper is to present the multifractal analysis using Generalized Fractal Dimensions (GFD) for color images with RGB components and invoke the GFD in the detection of noise free color images. GFD is the measure of complexity and the chaotic nature (irregularity) in the fractal images or highly corrupted images. In this scheme, Median Filter is used to denoise the color images corrupted by the Salt and Pepper Noise. It was shown that GFD measure classifies the Noisy and Noise Free Images very accurately and it was demonstrated by the graphical methods for the natural color images. This multifractal measure is a non-linear technique and it is a very efficient tool in the color image analysis to detect the noiseless color images.
