  • Abstract
With the quick increase in the number of various construction projects in China, many accidents related with deep excavation engineering have been reported. The risk analysis for the construction of deep excavation engineering has been paid more and more attention to recently. In this paper, a dynamic risk analysis based on entropy measurement for the construction of deep excavation engineering was investigated. Both the systematic entropy and the systematic entropy weight for each section of the whole construction of deep excavation engineering were figured out using the entropy measurement method. By analyzing and comparing the obtained values, the major risk factors were identified. These risk factors are suggested to give more concern during the construction of deep excavation engineering. The developed dynamic risk analysis method was successfully applied to the construction of a deep excavation engineering in Shanghai, China.
