Abstract :
To improve a mini-bus crash performance, firstly, finite element model of front rail crash on mini-bus chassis was built. Secondly, the simulation crash experiment was done by ABAQUS/Explicit. Finally, according to the simulating results of different cross section areas, different materials and different thins, the optimize design was determined. In conclusion, the results showed that the method of the simulation was a feasible way to ensure that a new designed mini-bus will have good crashworthiness.
