            Abstract : 
A novel broadside coplanar waveguide using both substrate sides, suitable for wide-band microwave and millimeter-wave integrated circuits, has been studied. The proposed broadside coplanar waveguide combines via-hole and air-bridge effects for ground equalization to suppress slotline mode. The wave concept combined with the Green´s functions with boundary element method is developed to analyze different CPW discontinuities build with the proposed structure. A very good agreement between measured and calculated results has been achieved.
