Abstract :
The problems of electromagnetic isolation between microelectronic circuits have been investigated and developed theoretically and experimentally. A new technique of screen based on metallic holes has been used. Two systems of holes arrangement have been tested. The first one is disposed in an adjacent way and the other in a staggered arrangement. The two arrangements have been modeled depending on the variational method. The circle cross section has been approximated by a truncated square forms. The metallic holes are modeled in experiments by conducting wire networks. The transmission coefficient has been calculated and measured. The convergence behavior of the technique has been also examined. The numerical results of the two cases have been compared with each other theoretically and experimentally.
