Abstract :
Collision detection is necessary in order to resolve interaction between teeth in dental arrangement. Dental arrangement is a part of the invisible correction system which is a computer aided system helping dentist to find a way to correct teeth in disorder. This paper discusses the importance of collision detection; a method has been developed for it, based on a physically-based modeling of triangle material. Teeth are modeled as a set of triangles; define the optimal plane to the neighboring teeth based on genetic algorithm. Through the best training result find the suitable number of individuals to perform our experiment in dental arrangement.
