Macroscopic Forecasting on Chinese Civil Aviation Transportation Market

Three methods are used to forecast the Chinese Civil Aviation Transportation Market over the next 20 years, namely international and domestic comparison, elastic coefficient method, and the regression method. The results show average annual growth rates, reasonable waving Intervals and the prediction values of the total transport turnover volume, the passenger traffic turnover volume, and freighter traffic turnover volume between 2008 and 2027. In addition, the results also tell about the elastic coefficient between the three turnover volumes and the GDP and GDP per capita. This forecast provides some scientific basis for decision making.
