  • Abstract
The dual-primal finite element tearing and interconnecting (FETI-DP) method is combined with the tree-co-tree splitting (TCS) method to analyze an electrical logging-while-drilling (LWD) tool. The FETI-DP method decomposes the original complex problem into subdomain problems and deals with them simultaneously using multiple processors. The TCS method is adopted to deal with the low-frequency breakdown problem. Numerical results show that the proposed method can achieve an excellent accuracy and a good convergence rate from several MHz to nearly DC.
