Abstract :
The gateway node for wireless sensor networks based the mobile communication system of CDMA is researched and designed. Firstly, the architecture of the gateway node with ZigBee module, CDMA module and ARM processor is demonstrated. Then, the hardware designing of the WSN gateway node is described in detail. In the forth segment, programming for ZigBee chip and ARM processor are given to illustrate the idea of software. Also, the format conversion of protocols from ZigBee to TCP/IP is described in detail. Network status of different sections such as ZigBee network, CDMA network and the whole network are tested. It is resulted that the data transmission from the sensor networks to the remote data center can be completed easily by using the gateway node developed by our teams.
