Abstract :
In this work we report the growth and optical properties of Er3+ doped LiNbO3 single crystal fibers using the micro pulling down (alpha-PD) growth method. We present the growth and characterization of fibers doped with different erbium concentration. The unpolarized absorption spectra were measured between 240 and 1650 nm. The emission spectrum were measured at 1.5 mum.
