Abstract
The simulation of remote-sensing sensor is a useful tool for a variety of tasks such as the design of systems, the understanding of the image formation process, and the development and validation of data processing algorithms. Based on the analysis of the principle of SMIFTS(Spatially Modulated Imaging Fourier Transform Spectrometer), a model for simulating the image progress of SMIFTS had been developed. The aim of this model was to study and evaluate SMIFTS system, and to use it as a tool in technical duel simulations. The simulation progress mainly includes four modules, namely: interference module, the MTFs module, noise module and quantitative module. The simulated image had been got and analyzed by realizing four modules.
