Abstract :
In this thesis, JingZhou county is served as the area studied. According to the database of resent land usage in 1990 and 2005, by the means of MAPGIS, from the following points: the scale of the land usage, per capita land area, spatial distribution of rural settlement, It study the law of the change of the spatial distribution in JingZhou rural settlement from 1990 to 2005 and research the relations between the traits of distribution and terrain, the county, the roadways and the rivers.
