Abstract

With the development of mobile technologies and the integration with the spatial information technologies, the mobile Web use including collaborative work support is expanding. This paper firstly describes the development history of cartography, designs new cartography modes based on the model for collaborative work in four communication patterns, and then discusses the implementation of mobile cartography based on collaboration. Collaboration based mobile cartography has a huge development potential, and its application market is also promising.
