  • Abstract
    A novel coplanar (CPW)-fed Yagi array with dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) is presented. The proposed antenna is composed of a driven patch, two parasitic patches, one as a reflector while the other is used as a director. The cylindrical dielectric resonator is installed above the driven patch and below the reflector patch. The obtained results show that the impedance bandwidth can reach to ~24% with the center frequency at 94 GHz (85 GHz-108 GHz), and the realized gain achieves 5 dB at 94 GHz with omni-directional radiation patterns.
