Abstract :
This study develops a noncollinearly phase matched optical parametric amplifier (NOPA) for high repetition rates. The NOPA is pumped by the output of a commercially available 2 MHz ytterbium-doped fiber-oscillator/fiber-amplifier system delivering 10 muJ pulses at 1035 nm center wavelength, a spectral width of 11 nm and a compressed duration of nominally 250 fs. This novel system becomes a most valuable alternative for many spectroscopic applications in femto-science.
