Abstract :
The use of multiple antennas at source, relay and destination terminal promises huge increase in quality of services, capacity and high data rate. This paper presents the mutual information of Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output MIMO relay channels when perfect channel state Information (CSI) is assumed at relay and destination terminal, it may also include spatially correlated channels and correlated noise. The analytical expression of Mutual information (MI) generating function has been derived by implementing multiple copies of the Gaussian integration. When the number of antenna at the relay terminal is more compare to the source and destination terminal this significantly increase the mutual information of channel. It has been observed that there is significant increase in MI for the value of (Ms,Md,Mr) to be (3,3,4) as compared to (3,3,3). Whereas the response gets worse with (4,4,3) as compared to (4,4,4). The simulation result confirmed that analytical method produces accurate and improved result for antenna array in MIMO for two, three, four and more antenna combinations.
