Abstract
Under the denomination of "anechoic reflector", we present in this communication a reflector that cancels the reflected signal in the incident direction. This performance allows to reduce the radar cross section of targets, and consequently, it has an important application to provide invisibility under surveillance monostatic radars. Due to the improvement of reflection at other directions, other possible application is to be used as a passive indoor reflector for mobile communications.
