Abstract
Most mechanical vibration of machines is a random process that has certain characteristics. The traditional wave superposition method can not solve the acoustic radiation problem with the random boundary condition. In this paper, the statistical wave superposition method is proposed, combining the wave superposition method with the statistical method to calculate the random acoustic field through the auto-spectrum of velocity on the structure surface. According to the simulations of the vibrating sphere and the cubic body, it is proved that the method proposed in this paper can give good results which caused by the stochastic excitation in a wide frequency band, and the errors is only 0.21% and 1.3%, respectively.
