  • Abstract
In this paper a new CMOS realization of ZC-CG-CDBA (Z Copy-Controlled Gain-Current Differencing Buffered Amplifier), a recently published active element, is proposed. In addition, the performance of the circuit designed is demonstrated on a second order single input-three output filter example employing two ZC-CG-CDBA elements. The natural frequency and the quality factor of the filter are adjustable electronically with current gain of active elements. Furthermore, the quality factor can be controlled independently by R4. The performance of the CMOS design is demonstrated by SPICE simulations. Theoretical and simulation results are found in good agreement with each other. Proposed CMOS circuit seems to be a good alternative to other IC building blocks for analog signal processing.
