Abstract :
A microwave imaging radar for collision avoidance has to be able to acquire the 3D image also in the volume close to the car, i. e. in the near electromagnetic field. For this reason the imaging process can be performed only by microwave holography and the image reconstruction process takes place in the signal processing stage. In order to acquire also the radial speeds of the targets in the scenario, we propose a method able to reconstruct the 3D image of the scenario and, at the same time, the 3D image of the radial velocity field using the phase shifts introduced by the Doppler phenomena. In this paper this method will be described.
