Abstract :
Design and measured results of printed dipole array conformed around a conducting cylinder with 0.13lambda0 spacer in between are described. The dipoles in array are identical, with spacing d (0.51 lambda0 )and in circumferential direction. Corporate feed network is used to ensure the dipole radiating elementpsilas uniform amplitude and phase. It has omni directional radiation pattern coverage around the cylinder. This structure allows for large bandwidth (SWR of less than 2 over the bandwidth in excess of 21 percent). The results obtained show that as the number of arraypsilas dipole radiating elements increased, the radiation hole at the cylinder axial direction will gets narrower.
