Abstract :
Underwater wireless communication has been an emerging field in the last few years with many astonishing results published to improve the communication method. With the constraints and evolving problems in the field, underwater wireless communication has been spoken in almost all the conferences of the world with great importance. Although the outputs published couldn´t provide a convincing technique to follow as a guideline and to achieve better communication. In this paper, existing networking and routing protocolswere compared to have an insight on the aspects that has delivered results. TCP and Improved UDP have also been discussed with an eye opening idea in the emerging field.
