Abstract :
Applying grid technology to early warning and emergency management of city operation and development will greatly improve the reliability of city operation and development. There are three levels in mechanism of grid-based early warning and emergency management mechanism: hardware and the resource database, Grid server system and users´ portal. The appliance of the Mechanism in a section of Shanghai is proven it´s efficiency.
