Abstract :
In currently researches, feature of data is ignored while constructing models of XML documents. To solve this problem, a model named multidimensional tree for XML documents is presented in this paper. The model can describe feature of structure and data in XML documents by extending definition of structural summary. Sets of relationship between sibling elements will be added in structural summary and sets of elements in XML documents will be extended in dimension by vector of data feature. Experiments show that multidimensional tree is effective for describing structural and data feature of XML documents.
