Abstract :
The influence of specifically unadsorbed cations of a base electrolyte on a structure of a double electrical layer in region of potentials of a specific adsorption of anions is considered. The assumption about introduction (secondary adsorption) cations in a compact part of a double layer as a result of their interaction with the specifically adsorbed anions is necessary in a basis of the analysis. The calculations of ionic adsorption, electrode charge, potential of a zero charge, of a double layer capacity are carried out. The outcomes, reduced in the report, show, that the neglect of a secondary adsorption of cations of a base solution can result in to significant errors at interpretation of the experimental data.
