Industry structure convergence and local government behavior in Yangtze River Delta

The convergence of industrial structure in Yangtze River Delta increased internal competition between regions and waste of resources, the further development of regional economy was then hindered. These consequences ,to a considerable extent, caused by the local government behavior. Based on the calculation and analyzing of similarity coefficients of industrial structure of the Yangtze River Delta, This paper combed the mechanism of industrial structure convergence and put forward countermeasures and proposals.
