Abstract
Two estimators are designed for cases of known and unknown on-off time ratios. The structure of estimators is independent of a priori undetermined signal and noise parameters. Influence of jitter and quantization effects on the estimators quality are analyzed. It is demonstrated that taking into account of jitter at real signal-to-noise ratios in discretization. circuits leads to significant falling of effectiveness of estimation algorithms. Formulas are obtained that allow to calculate errors of estimates taking into account effects of jitter, quantization noise and equivalent filtration of signal and input noise in consequence of jitter.
