Abstract
In this paper, the dual-feed circular polarization folded microstrip antenna for GPS (Global Position System) is being suggested as a developed antenna which could have a broader 3 dB beam width of axial ratio than planar type such as microstrip patch antennas. Furthermore, a proposed antenna has several advantages which are appropriate for edge of blade on plane or miniaturized portable receiver. The results in this study obtained MB beam width of axial ratio, which is wider than regular planar type patch GPS antennas. The maximum gain for the x axis parallel polarization was -2.9 dBi, and the y axis was -1.1 dBi. An average value of axial ratio is 2.68 dB, when the frequency was at 1.575 GHz, from 0deg to 180deg at 30deg intervals in zx-plane.
