Abstract :
Given that outsourcing has become a fact of life in every working areas, it is becoming increasingly obvious that we need to ensure that computer science students are taught the necessary skills to cope with global IT outsourcing development. This paper describes the objectives of English for Computer Course teaching along with its shortage in terms of global software outsourcing environments. On this basis, we discuss the contribution of IT Outsourcing and present some features of the new educational system combining English for Computer Course materials with ITO. Main methods included adopting a new balanced hybrid teaching method to combine foreign language learning and IT skills practicing, introducing interactive teaching scenes to enhance oral English communication, Integrating language teaching in ECC with ITO knowledge, aiming to cultivate compound talents. The results show that this new system is feasible and capable of providing support for effective ITO human resource pool.
