Abstract :
A novel infrared face recognition method based on radative energy and decision fusion is presented in this paper. In this method, according to Stefan-Boltzmann´s law, the raw thermogram images are transformed to the radiative energy images. Then, the block-DCT is applied to get the local features of face. Finally, a method of decision fusion based on probability is presented to obtain the final result. The experiment results show the method proposed performs better on recognition rates as compared to other methods.
