Abstract :
Epsilon-near-zero (ENZ) narrow channels inspired by super coupling are proposed to (1) match two dissimilar coaxial lines, (2) match a coaxial line to a rectangular waveguide and (3) to implement a directional coupler. The designs presented here are inherently narrowband in operation, but broadband implementation is possible using cascaded sections as presented in [10].
