Research on the Location of Knowledge Intensive Service Industry in Shanghai City

We find the location of knowledge intensive service in Shanghai City by the means of Location Entropy of knowledge intensive service. The paper divides knowledge intensive service into information-dependence knowledge intensive service represented by the finance sector, innovative knowledge intensive service represented by design sector, and knowledge intensive service represented by hospital and school. We analyze in detail the location of three types of knowledge intensive service in Shanghai City and respectively sum up their location model.
