Abstract
This study utilizes a dynamic multimode laser model for an accurate design of ring laser angular velocity sensor, taking into account the dynamic limitations due to nonlinear mode competition effects. The optimum range of design parameters has been identified in order to meet the requirements for integrated angular velocity sensors based on ring lasers.
