Abstract
The aim of this paper is to examine knowledge management issues in China´s tea industry by focusing on its role in promoting export value based on an analysis of patents and literature. The Johansen cointegration technique is used to examine the causal relationship. The estimation results indicate that literature play a greater role than patents in the international trade of China´s tea and the reason were analyzed. In order to achieve better knowledge management in China´s tea industry, due attention of literature should be paid as an important source of knowledge acquisition.
