Abstract :
The design of an arbitrary n-sided irregular polygonal electromagnetic concentrator is introduced in this paper. In the proposed method, an arbitrary shaped cross section is divided into triangular segments. According to the simple Y-intercept proposed transformation, the permittivity and permeability tensors of the triangular segments are calculated. Some simulations are done for verification of the proposed method. Moreover, a star shaped concentrator are designed to validate the capability of the proposed method for arbitrary shapes. All numerical simulations validate the arbitrary shaped concentrator design method.
