Abstract :
With the ever inflating information in modern societies, enterprises are working in a complex, open and mobilizing environment. The operational environment is vital for competitiveness. In order to monitor the competitive environment, we propose to integrate state-of-the art text mining technologies, such as opinion mining, event change detection and patent trend change mining in a decision support system model called Miner of Valid Actions (MinerVA) that is based on Porter´s five forces framework.
