Abstract :
Polyethylene (LDPE) and ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) were filled with calcined clay of two particle ranges and in a silane treated and untreated condition. The electrical properties were studied using thermally stimulated current measurements. Silane treatment was found to affect the results for EPR more than for LDPE. For both polymers, the stimulated current is larger for samples with larger clay particles
