Abstract :
This paper has studied the transmission properties of two-dimensional ferrite electromagnetic band gap materials with linear defect under a mutative static applied magnetic field by the multiple-scattering method and experiments. We find that the defect states of magnetized 2D ferrite electromagnetic band gap structures can be tuned by the applied static magnetic field for the radiations in transverse magnetic mode.
