Abstract :
In this paper, an attribute reduction algorithm of fuzzy MADM problems based on triangular fuzzy numbers is introduced. The purpose of this algorithm is to look for order-preserving attribute subsets (O-reducts) of the original attribute set, therefore simplify decision making process. For real life applications, there are always many attributes in the multiple attribute decision making problems, when we use order-preserving attribute sets instead of the original attribute set, not only the efficiency would be increased, but also time and money used in obtaining data and deriving ranking orders are reduced. To further demonstrate our algorithm, a numerical example with several feasible O-reducts is illustrated.
