Abstract :
The full-wave acoustic logging signal records the information of velocity, amplitude and frequency of longitudinal wave, shear wave, Stoneley wave. These contain a large number of geological information, but they also mix with more useless information. Moreover, the emergence and superposition of component of acoustic signal is not a jump process, but a smooth transition process. For these reasons, a lot of methods have not worked in actual use. Through in-depth research and analysis, the signal processing methods based on wavelet de-noising and instantaneous frequency analysis can effectively obtain the exact first waves´ location of the acoustic components on the timeline. Further more the various parameters of acoustic components such as slowness, energy, frequency can be got. The actual data processing results show that the new method can accurately extract the first waves´ location of full-wave acoustic logging signals.
