Abstract :
In this paper, we employ a 4-port Agilent PNA-X Network Analyzer (NA) with the expansion modules to measure a 2×2 Multi-Input Multi-Output (MIMO) propagation channel at 57-64 GHz frequency band. For the above mentioned architecture, i.e. regular MMW MIMO, the Shanon capacity criterion is used to evaluate the performance in terms of transmission rate. The results reveal that we have a remarkable rate gain due to MIMO transmission.
